Vintage Pohoomull Bros silk embroidered robe

Extensively embroidered material with orange, cream, and a touch of green silk thread on red muslin, creating a geometric design; fully lined in cream silk; single button closure; collar extends as scarf on one side to be thrown over the shoulder.  Original tag shows that this was purchased from the historic & luxurious Shepheard’s Hotel in Cairo.  A very rare piece, this measures 44″ bust, 48″ hips, 48″ waist, 43.5″ long, 18″ shoulder width, 22″ sleeve length.
