1988 Siskiyou Buckle Co train belt buckle

From the Siskiyou Buckle Company, manufactured by Bergamot Brass Works, this buckle features a steam engine locomotive; on the back it says, “The railroad is one of man’s most important means of transportation. Modern civilization was built, in great part, by railroad.” It measures approximately 3.125″W, 2.5″H, and is in very good condition.
