{"id":9880,"date":"2019-08-02T13:46:09","date_gmt":"2019-08-02T17:46:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nvisionshop.com\/?p=9880"},"modified":"2019-08-02T13:46:09","modified_gmt":"2019-08-02T17:46:09","slug":"this-weekend-the-worlds-longest-yard-sale-winds-thru-northside-sidewalk-sale-at-nvision-comet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nvisionshop.com\/?p=9880","title":{"rendered":"<center>This weekend the World&#8217;s Longest Yard Sale winds thru Northside + sidewalk sale at NVISION + Comet<\/center>"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.127yardsale.com\/\" data-slimstat=\"5\">The World\u2019s Longest Yard Sale<\/a>, a super fun, and super long, annual event, runs from Michigan to Alabama along the US-127 corridor, AKA Hamilton Avenue as it winds through our fair Northside! <span class=\"ILfuVd\"><span class=\"e24Kjd\">The route spans 6 states (Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama) and is 690 miles long, and this year falls on August 1-4, 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">THIS SATURDAY, August 3rd, yard sales will take place throughout Northside, starting at 9am, with a central location at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cainministry.org\/\" data-slimstat=\"5\">CAIN \u2013 Churches Active In Northside<\/a>, 4230 Hamilton Avenue.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>BY DAY ~ 9AM \u2013 2PM:<\/b><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.northsidesummermarket.com\/\" data-slimstat=\"5\">Northside Summer Market<\/a> starts at 9AM\u00a0with individual yard sales around the neighborhood, and <strong>Yard Sale Central<\/strong> at CAIN, 4230 Hamilton Avenue, running until 2pm. Guests will be able to pick up a map of the participating neighborhood-wide yard sales at the yard sale\u2019s central location.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>TIP&#8211;&gt; From 11AM \u2013 1PM, take advantage of CAIN\u2019s Cool Down Corner, at the central location from 11am-1pm. Enjoy a grill out with cold drinks, fresh fruit and FREE popsicles. There will also be kid\u2019s activities and a book giveaway.<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>BY NIGHT ~ 6PM \u2013 11PM:<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: medium;\">After a day of shopping the yard sales of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/NorthsideSummerMarket\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-slimstat=\"5\">Northside Summer Market<\/a>, join in some art experiences, community mural painting, and LIVE Music in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/humblemonkBC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-slimstat=\"5\">Humble Monk Brewing Co.<\/a> beer garden (opens at Noon), 1641 Blue Rock Street, across the street from Hoffner Park, where guests will find art booths, live music, good food and tasty beers!<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Entry is FREE and you\u2019ll have the pleasure of enjoying:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dusty Bryant Band (duo set) at 6:30PM<\/li>\n<li>Tim\u2019m West w\/ DJ Rare Groove at 7:30PM<\/li>\n<li>Knotts (duo set) at 8:30PM<\/li>\n<li>The Tigerlillies at 9:30PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mattsonbarbecue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-slimstat=\"5\">Mattson Barbecue<\/a> will be slinging some of the best brisket, ribs, and sides in the city, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/arepaplace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-slimstat=\"5\">The Arepa Place<\/a> will be taking care of your vegetarian needs &amp; more!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>Join in to celebrate the summer and raise funds for good.
